Thermal properties

When components made of technical ceramic still keep their dimensional stability at high temperatures of application, then this due to the materials excellent thermal characteristics:

  • low expansion coefficient
  • high strength up to high temperature (high melting point)
  • high thermal shock resistance
  • good heat insulation or heat conductivity
  • (heat) dimensional stabilit
